Intro to Meridian Yoga Therapy (MYT) : Back Body
$40 advance / $50
Introduction to Meridian Yoga Therapy (MYT), a powerful healing method. This session will focus on the whole back body and nervous system as it regulates all organs. We will start with a brief intro to the underlying philosophy of MYT, energy pathways in the body, how blockages might occur and how this method can address the blockages that lead to physical, emotional and spiritual pain. You will learn and practice a Self-treatment sequence that can help deepen your yoga practice (asana, pranayama and meditation). We will discuss the basics of touch and how to sense different layers of the body. Finally, you will give and receive a 20-min sequence of techniques with a partner. Come alone or bring a friend. If you came to the last one, come again! We will learn the front body and Stomach meridian.
